Bombay Blue

This is my second time in this restaurant and once again we had a wonderful evening. Upon entering the door, there was a warm greeting from the students who were very professional and very concerned about making you have a pleasant dining experience. The menu is still excellent as its base is changed regularly, so you know that it is different every time. I can&#39;t wait to do it again. When you are near the end of your meal, the foreman and student will come to hear your feedback, how humanistic it is.

A great family friendly pub with restaurant quality food and a superb relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We have visited a number of times now and have always enjoyed great food and a lovely atmosphere but the food on this occasion was so good that I felt that I needed to put pen to paper. The service was relaxed and informal but efficient and the owner is always buzzing around making sure everything runs smoothly. Our waitress Sophie was knowledgeable, friendly and eager to help make sure that we had a nice evening. I had the Moules Mariniere which were served in a lovely large serving pot and presented beautifully. They were as large as I have seen and perfectly cooked and the creamy wine and garlic sauce that they were cooked in was delicious and was mopped up with the lovely crusty local bread that was provided. This is an absolute must if you like mussels. My wife chose half a Cornish Lobster which was amazing! it was perfectly prepared and presented and was so tasty with the perfectly seasoned thermidor sauce. She was so impressed that we are going to repeat the meal very soon. The bar is well stocked and there is a great choice of real ales always available and if you are lucky the landlord often has his own brews on tap. The bar is usually busy and the locals are welcoming and easy to chat to. Cant wait to go back!
